The Food Pantry moved into its new space this week. Our dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to relocate the equipment and food without missing a week of providing care to our community!
You may know that the Food Pantry began nearly 30 years ago offering diapers and formula to mothers in need of assistance. Over the years it has grown to feed hundreds of people each week with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, milk and other dairy products, meat and chicken, along with many non-perishable items. You make this ministry possible with your gifts, donations, and serving hearts. Please plan to join us as we officially “Bless the Pantry” after worship, 12:30 pm on Sunday, May 19!
Now, construction will focus on the main entry area. The Main Entrance (including the elevator) will be closed for construction on Sundays April 28 and May 5 to allow for abatement and demolition. The Office Entrance will be used for all church activities and Sunday worship as well as kids and student ministries. You can utilize the stairs or get dropped off in the circle drive (like a typical Sunday) and walk the level pathway to the Office Entrance. We’ll have plenty of friendly greeters to help show you the way!
