Over the years, we have made a tremendous impact in Kansas City, thanks to the generosity and dedication of our church family. Together, we’ve served thousands of meals, supported numerous local food pantries, and provided ongoing nourishment for those struggling with hunger. From our food pantry to our mobile food truck, from sack lunches to backpacks for hunger, our work has brought dignity, hope, and fresh food to those who need it most.
At Resurrection, our Hunger Ministries are making a lasting impact in Kansas City, providing vital support to those in need through our key programs.
Our Resurrection Food Pantry is the only short-term crisis pantry in Kansas City, offering immediate relief to those who are facing a financial emergency. By offering fresh, nutritious food and essentials during times of crisis, we provide a lifeline to those in urgent need.
Our mission to combat food insecurity by bringing essential fresh foods like dairy, eggs, meat, and produce to families residing in food deserts – areas with limited access to quality nutritious options.
Our Pantry Partner program is a vital initiative that empowers our local pantries to cater to the unique needs of their clientele. Unlike traditional models, we allow pantries to shop from curated list of items, ensuring that they receive the essentials that best suit the dietary preferences of those they serve.
Resurrection is dedicated to feeding the homeless in our community by providing sack lunches and hot meals out into the community.
Due to current economic conditions, the need in our community continues to grow. We are adding Drive Thru Pantries, Food Packing events, and more to help .
