Ash Wednesday services at all Resurrection locations will be held on schedule today.
Scheduled programming has resumed for Thursday, February 13 at all Resurrection locations.
Today is going to be an amazing day at Resurrection Leawood! You don’t want to miss worship, the groundbreaking for our new chapel and the chance to tour the new Swope Health Mobile Dental Clinic!
Groundbreaking In Person and Online: We’ll break ground for our new Wesley Chapel after each worship service (7:30 am, 9 am, 11 am and 5 pm). Each service will end about ten to fifteen minutes early, and we’ll head outside to the location of the new chapel, where we’ll have a dedicatory prayer and then we’ll officially break ground!
If you are outside of Kansas City, or can’t be in worship in person, please join us for worship online. Then, at the end of the service we’ll be live streaming the groundbreaking, and you can join us online here.
Stained-Glass Window: You’ll also see four panels of glass, studies for the new stained-glass window that will be a focal point of the new chapel. If you would like to be a part of making this window possible, and honoring a loved one with a gift, you can make a commitment this weekend.
