Sunday, February 8, our regular 5 pm worship service at Leawood will begin at 4 pm.
Scheduled programming has resumed for Thursday, February 13 at all Resurrection locations.
Our passion as a church is helping non-religious and nominally religious people to find Christ. This Saturday is a huge opportunity for you to invite your friends to check out our church. I don’t know many people, men in particular, who don’t love cars. Some of your friends may have antique, classic, muscle or exotic cars, or just cars they love to talk about. Invite your friends to join you for the car show, and if they have a fun car, to register their car for the show! This free, family friendly community event will have lots of activities for kids of all ages! Invite your friends and join people from all Resurrection locations! Click here for more information.
This year, in addition to amazing cars on display, we’ll have loads of free, family fun including:
Here’s the schedule for the day:
It’s going to be a blast!
This weekend is our fall kick-off. Kids will move up to their new Sunday School classes and each will receive a fun car toy as a reminder of the sermon message. In worship we’ll have two 1967 Mustangs behind me as I preach, and fun cars out front at all of our locations, as we consider the connection between restoring a junkyard car, and God’s restoring work in our lives. We’ll have treats in worship at all locations and be handing out yard signs for our Do Unto Others Kindness Campaign. In case you missed it, here’s the TV spot we recorded for the car show and sermon series for you to view and share. I’d love you to post it on your social media or forward the link to your friends.
I’m excited to be back in the pulpit this weekend and looking forward to the Car Show!
