Matthew’s Ministry Family Day Out at Leawood – December

Matthew’s Ministry invites participants with special needs and volunteers to a festive Family Day Out on Saturday, December 19, from noon to 3 pm in the Leawood Foundry. This special daytime gathering brings together friends for an afternoon of holiday celebration, complete with a warm meal, creative crafts, engaging games, joyful caroling, photos with Santa, and a movie to round out the festivities. Volunteers will be paired with participants to share in the fun and create meaningful connections throughout the afternoon. Whether you’re making ornaments, singing carols, or capturing a memory with Santa, this family-friendly event offers a welcoming space to celebrate the season together. Volunteers should plan to arrive by 11:30 am.
