Blessing of the Animals

Bring your beloved furry, feathered, or scaly friends and join us on Saturday, Sept. 19, for a special Blessing of the Animals, sponsored by Resurrection West. Blessings will be available from 1 to 3 pm, with a brief service at 1:30 pm, at Shawnee Mission Park, 7900 Renner Road in Shawnee, KS, directly across from the Dog Park. Whether you have a dog, cat, bird, reptile, or any other creature you call your own, we’d love for you to bring them along. Come celebrate the joy, companionship, and unconditional love our pets bring into our lives, and take a moment to give thanks for the animals who make our days a little brighter. All creatures, great and small, are welcome, so gather up your pets and join us for this special time together.
