Due to potentially damaging weather this afternoon and evening, the children’s musical and pre-show events in the Leawood Sanctuary have been cancelled and will be rescheduled.
Scheduled programming has resumed for Thursday, February 13 at all Resurrection locations.
This May, the classic Black literature book study continues with The Color Purple by Alice Walker. On Wednesday, May 27, from 6:30 to 8 pm at Resurrection Leawood in room B152, we’ll gather to read and discuss a story that cuts to the heart of resilience, faith, womanhood, and the search for voice and belonging. Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel has sparked powerful conversations for decades, and there’s plenty worth exploring together. Come be part of the discussion.
