Joy In Sharing: Sponsor A Child & Winter Warmth

Support families and children across Kansas City this Christmas by giving gifts that remind them they are loved and not forgotten. Sponsor a child through our partnership with RedBags KC, a local organization that connects families in need with sponsors during the holidays, or pick an ornament off one of the trees in the Narthex, each tagged with a toy or coat a child is hoping for. Pick up tags and sponsorship details at any Resurrection location starting Nov. 1, and return gifts by Nov. 30 to share Christ’s love and joy this holiday season. You can also help provide winter gear for those in need throughout Kansas City and for children in our partner schools by donating items such as adult and children’s coats, weather-resistant gloves, and warm socks. See the full list of needed items online. Your donations will go directly to our community partners serving homeless individuals and families, so drop off items in the JOY bins at the main entrances of your Resurrection Location.
