Leawood Men's Retreat

This fall, Resurrection Leawood men are headed to Devil’s Den State Park in Arkansas for two nights of backpacking and camping along the Butterfield Trail. The 15-mile route takes in Blackburn Creek and Vista Point, and while the hike is strenuous, a shorter option is available for those who want it. Scripture reflections and worship are woven throughout the weekend, centered on nature, community, and presence. All meals, park permits, and a hat are included, and Resurrection has backpacking gear available if you need it; just note that in your registration. Participants arrange their own transportation and are encouraged to arrive by 9 pm on Friday, September 25. Open to all Resurrection men 18 and older; no prior backpacking experience required.
