Join us for a magical evening at Matthew’s Ministry’s November Family Night Out, the annual Harvest Ball! On Saturday, November 21, in the Leawood Foundry. Adult participants with special needs (ages 17 and older) and volunteers are invited to wear their fall attire and dancing shoes for a night filled with friendship, fun, and festivity. From 5 pm to 8 pm, attendees will enjoy a delicious dinner and dance the night away with music playing throughout the evening. Volunteers are paired with participants with special needs, fostering connections and creating lasting memories.
Matthew’s Ministry Family Night Out offers a free evening of respite for parents and caregivers of individuals with special needs. Participants are paired with volunteers for a fun night of themed activities, including dinner, games, crafts, and a movie while parents and caregivers have a night out. All ages of participants are welcome, as well as siblings (ages 12 years and younger) of those with special needs. Registration required.
Registration required. Participant registration opens two weeks prior to the event date. For participant registration, contact Drew Nall.
Numerous volunteers are needed each month to make our event a success! Volunteers will be paired with a participant with special needs or sibling for the evening. There are also other opportunities to help in the kitchen or with crafts and activities. No experience necessary, just a heart to serve!
