PLANNED
GIVING
A MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

“Praise God, everybody! Applaud God, all people! God’s love has taken over our lives; God’s faithful ways are eternal. Hallelujah!”

Psalm 117, the shortest hymn of praise ever recorded in the Hebrew Bible, guided the Resurrection Foundation Board of Directors and staff throughout 2022. Every time we met to celebrate YOUR remarkable planned giving generosity to Resurrection, through the Resurrection Foundation, this hymn of praise centered our ministry.

My name is Debi Nixon and I have the incredible privilege of serving as the Executive Director of the Resurrection Foundation. On behalf of the board and staff, I am honored to share this annual report with you. This report celebrates absolutely everything YOU helped God accomplish through the Resurrection Foundation during 2022! God is changing lives, strengthening churches, and transforming the world through YOUR extraordinary planned giving generosity. Our entire Resurrection Foundation team has only one response, “Praise God, everybody! Applaud God, all people!”

As we look forward to 2023 at the Resurrection Foundation, we are thrilled to welcome three new board members, Bruce Brower, Molly Kerr, and Michael Klinock. We are also delighted to introduce our new board chairperson, Bill Taylor. Bill enjoyed an extensive career in public accounting. Now retired, Bill devotes his time to volunteerism, serving on several university boards and arts endowments in Kansas City. Bill and his spouse, Marilyn, are faithful members of Resurrection Overland Park. They enjoy visiting their grandson in Saint Louis, vacationing in sunny Florida as well as colorful Colorado, and cheering for their beloved Jayhawks!

Our devoted and talented staff, Ashley Cheung and Linda Roser, look forward to connecting with you one-on-one about your planned giving dreams or seeing you at a Resurrection Foundation special event during 2023.

To connect with Ashley, Linda, or myself anytime, please email us using the button below. Indeed, “God’s love has taken over our lives; God’s faithful ways are eternal. Hallelujah!”
