Due to inclement weather, all daytime in-person programs have been canceled for Thursday, Feb. 9 at each of our locations and the cafe and bookstore at the Leawood location are closed until 5 pm. Evening programs will be held, as scheduled.
There is no 5 pm evening worship at the Leawood location.
Imagine…a place that meets you right where you’re at as a mom, a woman and a friend.
Building Better Moms offers groups based on ages of children, so that a mom can connect with other moms who have children at similar ages and stages. Check the group dates carefully to select the right one for you.
Everyone must register to attend. Registration is open!

Yes. The membership fee of $45 for moms includes 13 meetings. Fees are collected during online registration.
Yes! Some groups fill to capacity right away in May, while others reach the maximum number during the summer.
When a group reaches the maximum number of members, a wait list is offered. If an opening occurs during the first few group meetings, those on the wait list are notified in the order they were received. Again in January, if any current members determine they are no longer able to participate, those on the wait list are notified according to the number of spaces available.
Groups are held to a maximum number in order to allow friendships to form within table groups. Consistency is important for relationships to take hold and for moms to begin sharing their true bumps and blessings. An important network of moms who “get it” grows into a lifeline in this manner. Additionally, the volunteer leadership of each group is equipped through training sessions to manage a set number of participating moms, rather than an evolving set of new names and faces. Our goal is to accommodate every mom who is interested in joining.
