Pastor Jason Gant will lead two conversations on how to move from survival mode and into a life of connection and joy with your family on January 31 and February 7 at our Leawood location. You register to attend in-person (childcare is available) or to receive a digital recording the day after each conversation.
As young professionals, we are often in the season of striving when it comes to our careers. This can be rewarding and move us into a place we have always dreamed, but it can also be overwhelming and we can be left feeling exhausted and numb. Join Sierra Glaser for a class on how to try softer with ourselves in this season of growth, without giving up. This conversation will take place over three weeks on Thursdays at our Leawood location.
Join us for a follow up to our January event, “The Power of Love: Into a Life of Connection and Joy” with Aundi Kolber, just for women! We will have walk together for six weeks starting Thursday Jan. 25 to dive into “Try Softer” with a specific focus on trying softer as women. This class will be led by Valerie Nagel and Lydia Kim at our Leawood location. We highly recommend that you purchase both “Try Softer” and the corresponding workbook, which can be found at The Well or online.
Join Rev. Joshua Clough at Resurrection Overland Park on Jan. 31 and Feb. 7 for a discussion for the guys about how to use our love to move us out of stress and overwhelm and into a life of connection with those we love.
Join Dr. Rebeca Chow, Resurrection’s Director of Counseling Services, and Rev. Ashley Morgan Kirk, Online Community Pastor, for an online follow up to our January event, “The Power of Love: Into a Life of Connection and Joy” with Aundi Kolber. Drawing from their fields of expertise, this will be a class where mental health meets spiritual health. It will incorporate the key points of Aundi’s book “Try Softer” with presentation style learning and interactive Q&A. Join us as we dive into learning how to care for both our feelings and our souls. “It will be worth it – because this is what we were made for: a living, feeling, connected, beautiful life.” The class is offered online via Zoom for four weeks starting on Monday, January 29.
