Sunday, February 8, our regular 5 pm worship service at Leawood will begin at 4 pm.
Scheduled programming has resumed for Thursday, February 13 at all Resurrection locations.
On Wednesday, March 4, at 6:30 pm, David Harris will join us at Resurrection Leawood (Foundry) for a timely conversation about his latest book, Antisemitism: What Everyone Needs to Know. Harris brings an unparalleled perspective to this critical topic—he served as CEO of the American Jewish Committee for over three decades and has spent five decades working on global Jewish issues, from the rescue of Jewish communities in Ethiopia and the Soviet Union to expanding Israel’s diplomatic relationships worldwide. The late Israeli President Shimon Peres called him “the foreign minister of the Jewish people,” and his work has shaped conversations around Holocaust memory, interfaith dialogue, and combating antisemitism across the globe. Scott Chrostek will moderate this conversation at 6:30 pm in Foundry Hall, with both in-person and online attendance options available. This is an opportunity to engage with someone who has dedicated his life to building bridges of understanding and addressing one of the most pressing issues of our time. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
On Wednesday, March 4, at 6:30 pm, Student Ministry is hosting a baptism service at the Leawood location, where students can take this significant step in their faith journey through immersion or sprinkling, or choose to remember their baptism. Baptism is one of the most meaningful moments in a person’s faith story, a public declaration of commitment to following Christ, and this evening is designed to celebrate exactly that. Whether you’re a student ready to be baptized, wanting to remember your own baptism, or simply want to show up and cheer on someone taking this step, this is a night worth being part of. We invite students, families, and friends to come together and witness something worth celebrating. Learn more and register by clicking the button below.
YTHEffct is releasing their new album Life with Jesus, and we’re turning the Leawood Student Center into a full-on concert venue to celebrate. All middle school and high school students are invited on March 6 from 6:30 to 8 pm for a night of live music, good energy, and listening to tracks from the brand-new album for the first time. This is a release party in the best sense – good music, your friends, and a chance to be part of something our talented students and leaders created. The Student Center is the perfect spot to pack in, turn up the volume, and celebrate new music together. Show up ready to have a great night.

Join Pastor Robert Johnson for two powerful immersion trips that trace the sacred and sobering events shaping America’s journey toward justice. In March, explore Tulsa’s Greenwood District and the Osage Nation. In November, travel from Little Rock to Memphis, where ordinary people made extraordinary choices during the Civil Rights Movement. These aren’t tours—they’re pilgrimages designed to challenge and change us through guided reflection, prayer, and conversation, equipping us to love boldly and serve courageously today.
UPDATE: The Human Rights trip to Tulsa and the Osage Nation is now full.
