Easter at Resurrection is one of the most meaningful weekends of the year, and we’d love for you to be part of it. There are times in life when hope is hard to come by, and darkness seems to have the upper hand. Christ’s Resurrection on that first Easter made clear that, in the end, love conquers hate, light defeats the darkness, and hope triumphs over despair. This is why Easter means the worst thing is never the last thing, and there is always hope. Join us this Easter for powerful worship, inspiring music, meaningful moments of prayer, and hear a lasting message of hope. Christ’s Passion: His Final Hours is a service that brings together the events of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday in one powerful evening. Join us as we journey through Jesus’ last night with his disciples, his arrest in Gethsemane, his trial, and his crucifixion. Through scripture, song, and prayer, we will experience the depth of Christ’s love and the sacrifice of the cross during these decisive hours that changed the world. Spring is here, and we’re celebrating with our Easter Egg-Venture—a free, family-friendly event at your Resurrection location! On March 28 or 29, bring your basket and join us for egg hunts, creative crafts, and activities designed for the whole family to enjoy together. Invite your friends and neighbors to come along—no registration needed, just show up ready for some springtime fun. Leawood, Overland Park, Brookside, Downtown, and Lee’s Summit host the festivities on March 28 from 10 am to noon, while West, Blue Springs, and Spring Hill celebrate from 2 to 4 pm. Liberty location will hold its Egg-Ventures right after Sunday morning worship on March 29. Want to help make this event special for families in our community? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers, middle school age and older, to jump in and serve. It’s going to be a great day!

Join Pastor Robert Johnson for two powerful immersion trips that trace the sacred and sobering events shaping America’s journey toward justice. In March, explore Tulsa’s Greenwood District and the Osage Nation. In November, travel from Little Rock to Memphis, where ordinary people made extraordinary choices during the Civil Rights Movement. These aren’t tours—they’re pilgrimages designed to challenge and change us through guided reflection, prayer, and conversation, equipping us to love boldly and serve courageously today.
UPDATE: The Human Rights trip to Tulsa and the Osage Nation is now full.
