Parenting with Love & Grace

Play Video

Parenting is a struggle with moments of great joy and great doubt. What if you approached parenting in the same way God approaches us? And what if that strategy helped our kids understand what it means to be loved by God and parented with grace? In this first of two teaching videos, Jason Gant – Pastor of Kids and Family Ministries, offers a Wesleyan view of grace to equip parents with the first tool, Leading with Love.

Episode 2

Parenting with Love & Grace

Discipline and consequence are often the most challenging steps of parenting. But what if we approached them as Correction & Restoration, in the same theological sense of Christ’s sacrificial love and resurrection? This justifying grace of God can be transformative when applied to parenting, especially when the ultimate goal is to raise kids with formation in mind or sanctifying grace. Enjoy this second session of Parenting with Love & Grace and share it with friends and family as we each seek to become better disciples and parents.

The Best Place to Raise a Family

Resurrection strives to be a church that loves, cares, and shapes kids and their families into an active life of discipleship. We support and equip families and their children by providing safe, fun, and engaging faith development environments where every child (6 weeks – 5th grade) experiences the love of God and where every parent/guardian has the support and encouragement needed in nurturing their family’s faith.

In Kids Ministry programs, we want to create a weekend experience (and mid-week) that become the best times of the week for kids.  We hope to create spaces where kids have fun and learn about Jesus through scripture, teachings and song, movement-oriented curriculum, connection with each other and their leaders, and by learning to serve God by serving others with the gifts God has uniquely given them.
