Kids and Youth Choir and Orchestra

Resurrection’s music program has a spot for kids and teens at every level, from first-time singers to students who have been performing for years. Kids Choir meets Sunday mornings from 10:10 to 11:10 am at the Leawood location, open to Pre-K through 5th graders with no audition required. Students in grades 3 through 6 have another option this fall with Kindred Voices, launching as Resurrection’s first church-wide children’s choir. Singers from every location and the surrounding community are welcome to audition, and once rehearsals begin, they’ll run September through May with a repertoire that mixes sacred and secular music. Meanwhile, students in grades 6 through 12 can rehearse together in Youth Choir or Youth Orchestra, meeting Wednesday evenings at 5:30 at the Leawood location, with Youth Choir open to anyone and no audition required.
