Loss of a Parent Grief Group

Losing a parent reshapes life in ways that are hard to anticipate, and for young adults, that experience can feel especially isolating. This six-week group, designed for adults ages 18–35, meets on Thursdays from June 18 through July 23, 6–7:30 pm, at Resurrection Leawood in Room B259. It offers a place to process grief alongside others navigating a similar loss. Together, you’ll explore the many layers that come with it, from shifting family dynamics and changed relationships to unexpected triggers and emotions that don’t follow a predictable path.
