Costa Rica - Day 1

We started our journey with a 5:05 AM flight from Kansas City to Orlando, continued from Orlando to San Jose, Costa Rica.  On the flight we met up with another group of 5 from Trinity Methodist Church in Alabama who will be serving with us this week.  We took a long drive (5 hours) to San Isidro General. We drove through a rainforest with lots of up of hills.  Our breaks got hot so we switched buses midway.  It was a long journey.

We arrived and got settled into our camp.  We shared a delicious beef fajita meal.  We were exhausted and lights out by 830!
