Honduras - Day 4

Our team was greeted in Cuidad this morning with the immensely hospitable students and staff as they gathered for a morning devotion. This is a weekly event that typically takes place at 7 am, but due to our team’s travel time in the morning, they graciously postponed it until our arrival at 9 am! The service was composed of beautiful music, dancing, singing and a drama. We had a bit of rec time and then set off to class! The drama and music teams continued with their programming. The painting and drawing classes continued to learn techniques in preparation for the contest and exhibition on Friday!

The afternoon VBC session reminded students that “You are the light of the world.”, Matthew 5:14. We reiterated that even though we speak different languages, come from different places, are many shapes and colors…we come together as one to create something beautiful in which God’s light can shine through. We crafted stained glass windows and played Bible Bingo!
