Hello all its Matt again. Fortunately Maddie is feeling much better. Today was another great day despite Maddie and Nancy being sick and Mary staying back to care for them.
Like the days before we worked with our students on their various project for this Friday’s upcoming fundraiser. As we approach Friday the pressure is on to get our students ready for the big day.
Here are some pictures from today’s art students. Aren’t they cute?

A few grades above were the music students who are having fun learning songs in English!

The higher grades are working on English and theater. (That’s me with the red pants and white shirt!)

After class we ate lunch and watched a presentation by Amanda, the organizer of the student sponsorship program. If you not familiar be sure to check it out and consiter sponsoring a child.
(That’s me again in the top left!)
After the presentation we helped members of the community paint the red fence right outside of the church entrance. I forgot my crummy clothes and got a little messy. Oh well.
Once we got back to the mission house we had a great experience exploring the church just above our heads.
Careful not to fall!
As the evening quieted down some of use meet with translator Rigo to discuss sponsoring a child. Again don’t forget to check it out.
After a long day of a sore throat paint on my clothes and materials left at the church all issues and inconveniences disappear when I think back to all the happy kids giving us hugs and having fun. Don’t forget to tune in next time.
Matthew
