Hola y buenos dias!
Today was our last full day in Honduras, which is filled with the sorrow of leaving, but mostly the joy of all the memories that were created this week. We started our day at ‘Feliz Dia Del Estudiante’ (Happy Student Day). It was an amazing experience, filled with games, dances, food, and recognition. It was truly amazing to see the teachers express their gratitude and love to all of their students at the Juan Wesley School.
After the celebration, we traveled to ‘Villa de Angeles’ (Valley of Angels), which is a beautiful town up in the mountains. While there, we were able to have a lunch together and travel around many small shops and also see some beautiful nature.
In the evening, we went to a beautiful restaurant and had an amazing dinner alongside our Honduran friends. After parting ways with a few of them, we returned to the mission house to sleep and prepare for our final travels tomorrow morning, before we fly back.
We are all very grateful for the hospitality, kindness, and love that all of our Honduran friends have shown us throughout this week. They are truly amazing people, and we shall forever be grateful to have them in our lives.
Buenos noches y bendiciones!
(Good night and blessings!)
