It continues to be an incredible week! Our teams are building meaningful connections, forming newfriendships, and truly enjoying the opportunity to spend time with the people of Ciudad España.

Our Art team taught about the Fruit of the Spirit and spent time coloring and drawing with the students. The Music team made tambourines using paper platesand jingle bells, while the Gymnastics team led funrelay races.

And you’ll never guess what happened with the Zumbateam—they actually wanted to do Zumba! The onlyproblem was…we didn’t have anything prepared!Thankfully, the team’s motto this week has been: “PIVOT!” We’ve learned to expect the unexpected and embrace every opportunity that comes our way.

One of the seniors at Juan Wesley School, Isaac, offered to teach our team a song to perform during Friday’s celebration. Between learning the song and practicing the dance, we’ve definitely gotten plenty of cardio this week!

At VBC, the theme was David and Goliath. The children made bookmarks and played Sharks and Minnows together. Meanwhile, the Sports Court team beganpainting the court lines today. The bleachers have allbeen painted and look fantastic just in time fortonight’s first soccer games! We’re also ready to tackle even more trash cleanup tomorrow. 😊
