Blog 6

Dumela!  Today, Day 8, was bittersweet. We are sad that it is coming to an end, but happy that it happened.  

We arrived at the plot at Distshego and began the difficult goodbyes.  The staff at Ditshego and the Resurrection team members each shared with the group what the week had meant to them, what we had learned, and what we would take away from the experience.  We also sang and danced with everyone, which was so much fun!  

Way too soon the van was there to pick us up.  The children even came out from class to send us off.  What a great morning!

We traveled to Pilanesberg National Park to begin our cultural experience.  We got to the park in time for an evening game drive.  We saw elephants and their babies, a rhino and its baby, a giraffe, impala, lions, a beautiful sunset over the mountains.
