Today was absolutely amazing—truly felt like we accomplished two weeks’ worth of work in just one day!

Some of our incredible team members, who are retired teachers, led a training session for the preschool staff on how to better support children with special needs. The teachers were engaged, curious, and asked insightful questions. It was so inspiring to witness.

While that was happening, our dental professionals brought smiles and knowledge to the preschoolers by teaching them the importance of oral hygiene. They loved listening to The Tooth Book by Dr. Seuss, and we used a giant tooth model and toothbrush to demonstrate how to brush properly. The best part? The kids got to try it themselves – definitely saw some future dentists in the making! 😉

We also played a fun nutrition game where the children sorted food flashcards into “happy teeth” and “sad teeth” categories. Their excitement hit a new high when we told them they’d be going home with their very own toothbrushes and toothpaste. Huge thank you to our personal dentists and Henry Schein for donating the supplies! The school-age children also participated in oral hygiene lessons and received their own toothpaste, toothbrush, and floss.

Meanwhile, one of our amazing teammates, a project manager, gave a presentation to Ditshego’s leadership team on ways to improve project efficiency. What made it even more special was that the group activity afterwards applied directly to a real project they’re currently working on. It was impactful and immediately useful.

And of course, Tenzi was a massive hit! The kids had so much fun rolling dice and laughing together.

Today was our final full day at Ditshego, and we’re holding tight to the memories and the relationships we’ve built. This experience has been nothing short of a blessing.
