South Africa: June 20 - July 1, 2025
This morning, we had a final tea with the Ditshego members, saying not goodbyes – but see you later. It was bittersweet. Before we left, we made a cute craft in the shape of a heart, made out of only strips of paper! Ditshego then
gave us lunch to go and cheered us on as we left the plot. It was very heartwarming.
We then went on a little roadtrip to Pilanesberg National Park. We got settled in. The afternoon was amazing, we went on a three-hour safari and saw tons of animals: lions, rhinos, elephants, zebras, and giraffes! We finished the day with a great dinner buffet, talking about everything we saw.
