Our team spent the day praising the Lord through team building, learning, games, music, worship and fellowship. As soon as we met the youth team from the West View Church, our group of students from Church of the Resurrection jumped right into conversations. We used a speed dating format to answer questions like what are you passionate about. My favorite answer was a young woman who said she was passionate about herself because she was one of God’s creations. What a beautiful answer!

Next we learned how competitive everyone is at games including musical chairs (with a twist), Gaga Ball and basketball. Our favorite part of the day was dancing to worship songs together. We loved getting to know our new West View friends and can’t wait to team up tomorrow to teach the vacation Bible camp lessons at Ditshego!
