From organizing food drives to participating in festive events, we invite you and your friends to join us in making a meaningful impact during this JOY-filled season. Together, we can spread love, hope, and kindness to those around us.
Are you ready to make a difference? Let’s come together to serve our community and celebrate the true spirit of the holidays!
This holiday season, we invite you to spread joy and warmth by sponsoring a family or child through our Christmas gift sponsor program. By choosing to sponsor, you’re not just giving a gift; you’re making a meaningful impact in someone’s life, helping to create cherished memories during a time that can be challenging for many.
Visit the Missions Giving Tree after services on November 17 at your location to receive your sponsorship packet. All gifts need to be returned on or before December 1st.
For Kansas City’s unhoused population, freezing temperatures could be deadly to someone exposed for long periods, creating the risk of frostbite, hypothermia, and even death. Winter clothing and shelter become essential for survival. Your winter warmth donations will go directly to our partners who work with the homeless communities throughout Kansas City.
Please provide any or all of the following items and return to the JOY bins at the Main Entrances by December 1.
Any monetary contributions allow Resurrection to provide winter warmth items to several local partners this year.
*In-kind donations will not be reflected on your giving statements.
Support our partner school ministries by contributing to our toy drive for incentive school programs and classroom needs! Starting December 1, you can pick up a list of toys at your location for items in need.
The items collected will go directly to our 13 partner schools in the KCMO, KCK, Olathe, and Shawnee school districts. These generous donations will be used for Elementary school incentive to reward and motivate children, as well as in Pre-K classrooms to enhance play and support motor skill development throughout the year.
Shop from the lists below or directly from our Amazon wish list to be shipped directly to Resurrection. Donations are due by December 15.

Resurrection is dedicated to supporting families and children locally and around the world. This Christmas your global donation will support low-income families in Uganda with financial opportunities for livestock ownership. Other funds will be supporting vulnerable families in Costa Rica with school uniforms.
We kindly invite you to consider making a donation to our holiday fund. Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly enhance the lives of individuals and families within our community. Your support will help provide meals, gifts, and essential resources to those who might otherwise go without during this season of giving.
