Woodland Early Learning Center is a historic building in downtown Kansas City that serves 200 preschool children and their families through the Head Start Program. Come be a part of our team as we lend a hand with organizing the clothing closet or tidying up the school grounds with some weeding and planting! 12 & Older
KVC helps over 30000 people annually through family preservation, family reunification, outpatient therapy, foster care, and adoption. Come help us, help them! We will be doing some organizing in their warehouse that freely gives to families in need. 7 & Older
Hillcrest serves over 1,020 children, individuals, and families each year through its five residential sites in Johnson and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas and Jackson County in Missouri. Proceeds from Hillcrest Thrift Stores directly support their Housing Program. 14 & Older

We’ll be serving lunch, enjoying games with prizes, and sharing a brief time of devotion together. With our goal to redirect Kanbe’s Markets invites you to join us as we help sort donated produce into their four redirection tiers: Kanbe’s Healthy Corner Stores – bringing fresh, affordable produce to underserved areas. Community Partners — providing fresh produce to over 40 local food pantries for neighbors in need. Animal Feed — supplying animal feed to nonprofit rescue farms. The mission of the Family Resource Center is to provide solutions to address the needs of working/disabled individuals, families and senior citizens facing hardships due to poverty, low income, homelessness and food insecurity.
