Summer Makeover: The Hub - Argentine Neighborhood

This summer, our annual School Makeover is taking on a new shape—and a new address. Rather than working inside a school building, we’re heading into the Argentine neighborhood to serve alongside The Hub, a remarkable community gathering place built around knowing your neighbors and working together toward real, lasting change. Through a community market, clothing pantry, community garden, and a new commercial kitchen, The Hub is cultivating economic opportunity and shared resources for the people who call this neighborhood home—including the more than 350 Methodists from many different cultural backgrounds who gather there for worship each week. Our role this June 3–10 is to help refresh and strengthen the physical space that makes all of this possible.
