ON SUNDAY, JAN. 25, WE WILL BE HOLDING ONE SERVICE AT EACH LOCATION AT 11 AM, EXCEPT FOR LIBERTY AT 10 AM.
This will be a worship together opportunity for everyone, with no kids or youth programming. It will be a fun and moving service of worship, but if the roads are bad or if your vehicle doesn’t do well in the snow, please join us on TV or online here at our regular times.
Scheduled programming has resumed for Thursday, February 13 at all Resurrection locations.
Resurrection has several global mission trips coming up in 2026, with openings still available for destinations including Uganda, Honduras, Costa Rica, South Africa, the Borderlands, and Malawi. These trips connect you directly with our long-term partners who are already making an impact in their communities—you’ll build relationships, serve alongside local leaders, and see firsthand how sustained partnership creates lasting change. Whether it’s construction, educational programs, or community development, these trips give you hands-on ways to put your faith into action while learning from the people you’re serving with. We also have family serve trips to Omaha this spring, and several student serve trips happening this summer, so there are options for different seasons of life. If you want to learn more about any of our global trips before committing, we’re hosting a Zoom information session on Wednesday, January 29, at noon and 7 pm, where we’ll walk through destinations, costs, what a typical trip looks like, and answer questions about logistics or team dynamics. You can register for the Zoom session or sign up for any of these trips at the button below.
The Beloved Women’s Conference returns February 6-7 at Resurrection Leawood and online, bringing together women of all ages for two days of connection, inspiration, and community. This year’s theme, “The Garden: A Future Filled with Hope,” explores Jeremiah 29:11—God’s promise of plans for a hopeful future—through the voices of two compelling speakers: Cole Arthur Riley, author of This Here Flesh and creator of the Black Liturgies project, and Emily P. Freeman, known for The Next Right Thing and her thoughtful approach to everyday faith. Whether you’re looking to deepen existing friendships, find encouragement for the road ahead, or simply spend time with women who get it, this conference offers space to connect with others and discover how to cultivate hope in your own life.
Join us on Sunday, February 1, for Explore Resurrection, where Senior Pastor Adam Hamilton will share our church’s history, purpose, and commitment, along with the beliefs and traditions of the United Methodist Church. Our location pastors will introduce you to our ministries, while our connection and care pastors will be available to answer your questions in this casual setting designed to help you connect with fellow worshipers and discover opportunities to serve, connect, and grow. Following a short break, those who wish to take the next step can participate in an optional membership ceremony. Small groups and classes are gearing up for spring, and there’s a spot waiting for you. Whether you’re looking for Bible study, classes, or just want to connect with people in a meaningful way, we’ve got you covered. Our groups meet regularly to dig into scripture, share real life, and support each other through whatever comes up. From theological deep dives to hands-on community projects, there’s something for every season of life and interest. We’re also offering focused classes this spring that provide structured learning opportunities to enrich your faith journey. It’s where lasting friendships are built, faith is deepened, and our community grows stronger together. Click the button below to learn more and find a group.
A Church Conference will be held on January 27, from 7 to 8:30 pm in the Student Center (Leawood). We will be approving elected leaders for governance committees, evaluating candidates for ministry, and discussing the 2026 budget, along with receiving important reports. Voting is open to church members present in person, and no registration is necessary. For more information, contact Dan Entwistle. To attend via Zoom, use the link below. If you’re joining us on Zoom, you will be able to watch the meeting, but voting isn’t available online.

Join Pastor Robert Johnson for two powerful immersion trips that trace the sacred and sobering events shaping America’s journey toward justice. In March, explore Tulsa’s Greenwood District and the Osage Nation. In November, travel from Little Rock to Memphis, where ordinary people made extraordinary choices during the Civil Rights Movement. These aren’t tours—they’re pilgrimages designed to challenge and change us through guided reflection, prayer, and conversation, equipping us to love boldly and serve courageously today.
UPDATE: The Human Rights trip to Tulsa and the Osage Nation is now full.
