Each session pairs educational presentations with group discussion, covering topics such as the stages of divorce, coping with anger, healthy relationships, the effects on children, exploring forgiveness, and navigating the holidays. Starting September 9, adults 55 and up are invited to gather in the Spring Café at Resurrection Leawood, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 am for coffee, conversation, and community. Come and go as your schedule allows; there's no formal program, just people getting together over coffee. The gathering depends on volunteer hosts to help welcome people as they come in, and hosts are needed on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
