How Your Generosity is Transforming Lives in Ukraine

In times of darkness, it’s the light of compassion that guides us forward. Your incredible generosity—through a $30,000 donation from Resurrection to Global Care Force—has become that light for countless individuals in Ukraine. Led by courageous Ukrainians and supported by international volunteers, medical teams have been deployed to villages across Ukraine.

Funds were used to purchase medications for the Ukraine Primary Care Teams, and the results are nothing short of inspiring. Between February and May 2024, the medications:

  • Provided free medications to 1,389 patients, offering relief and hope to individuals facing unimaginable challenges.
  • Served 21 communities, reaching remote and underserved areas where healthcare access is a distant dream.
  • Delivered an average of $ 25 worth of medications per patient, a small investment with a monumental impact on their health and well-being.

Each number represents a story—a mother who can now care for her children without pain, a grandfather who can breathe easier, a community that feels seen and supported. Your donation didn’t just fund medications; it restored dignity, renewed strength, and reminded people that they are not forgotten. Together, we are building a future where healing is within reach for all, and where love transcends borders.

A Personal Testimony

Patient Tetyana, Krapivnya

The first time Tetyana came to the Global Care Force clinic was more than 1 year ago. She spent almost two months under Russian occupation hiding in a basement together with her grandchildren and barely escaped from it. Shortly before the Ukrainian troops started pushing the invaders back, Tetyana and her family managed to leave the village under the shelling while missiles were flying in the sky above them.

When the situation became more stable in the region, Tetyana came back to her native Krapivnya, tired of wandering around the world and searching for a “new home.” Left with nobody, and trying to relieve a family loss, Tetyana came to see the medical team trying to find somebody to listen to and to understand. The physical health of the elderly woman remained well even after relieving the horrors of the war. After getting basic prescriptions for several age-related chronic disorders, Tetyana started to come every time the medical team arrived. In May 2024, she shared her story with volunteer Ryan Anson and expressed her gratitude for being “the one who cares.”

“I speak on behalf of everybody you see here. Your warm welcome and kindness are what we appreciate a lot. Thank you, because you are those who make our lives better.” – Patient Tetyana
