Downtown
Most of the care at Resurrection Downtown is led by our Resurrection Congregational Care Ministers who are trained by our Care Pastor and are highly regarded for their faithfulness, care, and compassion. Care ministers always work in close-connection and under the guidance of our pastoral staff. Care ministers are available to pray with you before or after the worship service, in addition to connecting throughout the week.

Churchwide Care Ministry
Recovery groups welcome anyone affected by substance, drug, or alcohol abuse or addictions of any kind, including those struggling with mental health concerns. Online and in-person.
Navigating the challenges of mental health can feel overwhelming and isolating. Resurrection Counseling is here to provide compassionate, expert guidance tailored to you.
If you attend worship or programs at any Resurrection location, financial care and assistance always begins with an appointment with a pastor to explore possible support.
When the death has occurred, our pastors and staff would be honored to provide the service for your loved one here at Resurrection, at the funeral home or graveside.
Resurrection’s Wedding Ministry is honored to make weddings are available for both our members and non-members of the congregation. Resurrection welcomes all couples.
Silver Link Ministry serves those who are no longer able to attend church on their own by keeping them engaged in the life of the church through worship services and visitation ministry.
Resurrection Congregational Care Ministers
At Resurrection we strive to do ministry with excellence. One way we provide excellent ministry is in the partnership between our Resurrection Congregational Care Ministers (CCMs) and our pastors. With a congregation of our size, we rely on trained CCMs to serve with each of our pastors and staff in making hospital visits, following up on prayer requests, providing one-on-one support for those going through a difficult issue, and much more.

Community Care and Assistance
If you are a member of Resurrection or regularly attend worship or other programs at any location, financial care and assistance always begins with an appointment with a pastor. To explore what support may be available to you, please click HERE.
If you are a member of the Metropolitan Kansas City community but do not have a connection with Resurrection, we partner with social service agencies in the area to help provide some assistance to members of the community through referrals and agency grants. To find a social worker/case manager in your area, please call the United Way 2-1-1 information line.
