Help us celebrate the start of fall with families caring for those with special needs, offering caregivers a night of respite. Individuals with special needs will enjoy dinner, crafts, games, and a movie together while their parents and caregivers get a few hours to rest, run errands, or simply take a break.

The Foundry at Resurrection Leawood is transforming into a launchpad for an out-of-this-world evening! Matthew's Ministry Family Night Out comes to Leawood on Saturday, September 26, with a space-themed Blast Off for a night of dinner, games, crafts, activities, and a movie under the stars. Volunteers are paired with participants with special needs or their siblings for a night of fun and connection. 

Celebrate Matthew's Ministry Awareness Weekend on September 13 at all Resurrection locations and online! This special Sunday shines a light on a ministry dedicated to individuals with special needs and their families. Come ready to be greeted by Matthew's Ministry families, hear moving testimonies, and enjoy music that reflects the joy and spirit this community brings to Resurrection. And don't leave without trying a delicious Sonflower Bakery cookie, a sweet tradition that has become a beloved part of this weekend. Bring your family and come experience firsthand the incredible people and stories that make Matthew's Ministry such a vital part of who we are.

Join us for a celebration of creativity at the annual Matthew’s Ministry Performing Arts Concert! On October 19, at 7 pm, in the Foundry at Resurrection Leawood, witness the Matthew’s Ministry drama groups take the stage, and the Sonflower Ringers fill the space with their beautiful music. This is a heartwarming event that promises a delightful evening for the whole community.
