Bright Futures: Fostering Financial Literacy
Mar. 29 | 10 AM | Resurrection Leawood
Join us for Bright Futures: Fostering Financial Literacy, a life-changing initiative designed to empower foster youth approaching adulthood. We'll host an engaging lunch and learn session followed by a guided shopping experience at Walmart, helping young adults build practical financial skills as they transition to independence. For child welfare professionals, we're also offering a free CCU-eligible morning class. Your generous donations help provide these young adults with both essential knowledge and practical resources for their journey ahead.
Foster Adopt Community Meals
3rd Mondays | Meal - 5:30 PM | Programming - 6:30 PM | Resurrection Leawood
Join fellow foster and adoptive families for an enriching evening of connection and growth at our new Community Meals program, launching February 17 at Resurrection Leawood. Every third Monday throughout 2025, you'll enjoy a complimentary dinner followed by dedicated time for both parents and children - while kids engage in age-appropriate activities and teens gather in small groups, parents will participate in an 11-session course on Conscious Discipline for Trauma, equipping you with valuable tools for your family's journey.
