How We Serve in Ukraine

We are currently unable to send teams to Ukraine.

What We Do

Health

We partner with Open Door Counseling Center in Kyiv helping counselors with continued education focusing especially on trauma, PTSD, and addition. We are supporting several organizations on additional mental and physical health initiatives including mobile medical clinics in de-occupied communities.

Church Outreach

We are partnering with the Methodist Church supporting their outreach for displaced families, and assisting with supplies for basic needs, generators, and other life-giving equipment.

Medical Professionals Needed

If you are a medical professional, you can join a Resurrection team to Malawi or Uganda (click HERE to learn more) or you can serve on a Global Care Force team in Ukraine. Please note that a medical trip to Ukraine is not a Resurrection trip.

Travel & Accomodations

Travel

Teams fly into San Juan, Puerto Rico. Resurrection will arrange flight logistics so that the team is on the same flight.

Accomodations

Team members are accommodated at the Methodist Arecibo Campsite, approximately 20 miles from the Hatillo Samuel Culpeper Church. Accommodations are dorm-style (separate rooms for men and women), with bunk beds and private bath.

Uganda FAQ

The minimum age for Puerto Rico serve trips is 16 with parent or guardian. Team members under the age of 21 must have their parents/guardian complete a notarized Parental Consent Form.

Coming from the United States, all you need is a driver’s license or another valid form of photo ID to enter Puerto Rico (it’s part of the United States after all!)

You do not need speak Spanish to join a Puerto Rico team, but we are always looking for team members who do!
