Borderlands

How we serve at the US/Mexico Border

Resurrection’s trips to the border are both educational and service-oriented. Teams listen and learn with our partner organizations, and make trip to migrant shelters to hear stories and help.

Work & Activities

Teams to the border have two main activities: classroom sessions, and shelter visits.

Teams spend time at Resurrection’s partner organization, Abara, engaging in learning sessions related to many issues at the border. Abara brings in experts in the field to share with participants what the realities are of migration.

Teams also spend time working in migrant shelters, providing welcoming faces and fellowship to migrants after a long journey.
